Your patient journey with us
We encourage all prospective patients to discuss their eligibility for NHS treatment with their GP before contacting Value Healthcare. If your GP determines that you do not meet the criteria to receive NHS treatment, then Value Healthcare may be able to help you.
You do not need a GP referral to visit Value Healthcare. However, we would like to keep your GP informed about your treatment, and we encourage you to bring your GP’s details at the time of your first appointment.
Outpatient Consultation
An initial consultation can be booked and paid for online. An experienced consultant surgeon will assess your varicose veins, and discuss all the options available to you. You are not expected to make any decisions at this consultation. We advise that you take some time afterwards to consider whether or not you want to undergo treatment.
There is no further financial obligation following your outpatient consultation should you decide not to proceed to treatment.
Booking your Treatment
We encourage you to allow yourself sufficient time to consider the outcome of your consultation before proceeding to treatment. Only once you are comfortable with our recommendations, you can book and pay for your procedure here.
Treatment Record
A copy of your consultation and treatment record will be emailed to you at the end of your treatment. We advise you to give a copy to your GP surgery to ensure that their records remain up to date.
Follow Up
A follow up is not normally required for most of the procedures offered by Value Healthcare but a follow up is available at an additional cost, should you require one.
